TECHNOLOGIES
The roof is covered with tolerant drought grass for rainwater harvesting. Steel beams and concrete walls welcomed the idea of naked raw materials. Expanses of high-performance glass of low emissivity allowing natural light which recreates a shadows play between the daylight embrace with the oxidized vertical elements that forms the stairway. Reclaimed wood and polished concrete flooring. Recollection of rain water.
PROJECT
A sublime response that emerges from the ground rising beyond and returning to its horizontal state thanks to the mirror reflex of the reflective pond. It is a 1 bedroom 1.5 bath spiritual retreat intended for reflection, where the sacred space becomes the heart of the place, as well as the hub for the distribution of the rooms with a balcony that offers a panoramic view of greens and natural streams, allowing the dweller to step outside without leaving the inside. A calm environment achieved by the provocative building shape and by the used of naked materials attracting the eye.
